Inside the windows of the R32 Skyline (and many other models) there are felt pads intended to guide the door window glass as it rolls up and down. Over 30+ years these felt guides wear out and the window scrapes against them, causing deep pitted scratches in 3 to 4 places depending on the model of Skyline you have. 

The replacements from Nissan have long since been discontinued, so we developed a replacement part for these guides.

The R32 Skyline 2 door Coupe kit comes with the parts to replace every guide in a single door for models BNR32, HCR32, ECR32, HNR32: 

• 1x polycarbonate bolt-in window guide that attaches to the regulator
• 3x flexible TPU plastic clip-in bracket for the exterior side 
• All required hardware (if any is needed) 
• Clear installation instructions

To replace every guide in your R32 coupe you will need to purchase TWO kits. You will not need to make any cuts, taps, drill holes, or modify your car in any way to install these kits. Simply remove your old guides and replace them with. If additional hardware is needed, installation can be completed with simple hand tools. 

Guides can be purchased in PTFE or felt material. Both were tested for durability and scratching on the windows over a period of 1 hour on a reciprocating saw at roughly 100RPM - the equivalent of 6000 window cycles. In other words: that's rolling up and down your window once a day, every day, for the next 8 years.  Each tested sample showed virtually zero wear and the window was completely the same as before the test.
