RB to VQ AC Compressor bracket swap kit - Air Conditioner adapter R32 R33 RB20DET RB25DET NEO RB26DETT Nissan Skyline

This bracket replaces your RB AC compressor and bracket, and swaps it to adapt a VQ35 Air Conditioning Compressor from the 03-06 350Z. Can be used on Nissan Skyline R32 and early R33 GTR.

Benefits:

• 350Z compressors are $200 aftermarket, OEMs are still in production, and used units are plentiful in junkyards and on FB marketplace
• Moves the compressor forward to share a belt with the power steering pump, eliminating throwing belts at high RPM.
• Fits all models of R32 Skyline and 95/96 R33 GTR ONLY. With any RB series motor from the factory or swapped. (RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, RB25DET NEO). Does not fit R34 or non-GTR R33.
• 100% Plug and Play. Install is simple with basic hand tools; no cutting, drilling, or modification required. Simply remove your old compressor and bracket, bolt the line adapter to the compressor, install the 350Z compressor, and plug it into the supplied plug adapter. It uses the stock RB AC lines.

Brackets are made of anodized black aluminum. Engineered, cut, and assembled in the USA. 

FITMENT & NOTES:

• A bracket can be included to move the line to offer enough clearance for the OEM high pressure power steering line on non-GTR R32s. If you have a GTS-t, GTE, GTS-4, or ANY NON-GTR R32, select "Add high pressure power steering line relocation bracket"
• If your car is a GTR, or you have swapped your high pressure power steering line to an aftermarket line, you do NOT need this bracket. Select "I have a GTR --OR-- aftermarket high pressure power steering line."
• If you have not switched to R134A refrigerant, you swap to compatible o-rings and fittings (available under the popular add-ons box: R134A swap kit for R32 Skylines). Additionally, your lines, condenser, and evaporator must be flushed when installing a new compressor. Failure to do so will result in damage to your compressor.

AS OF 10/20/2026 - This bracket kit has ONLY been tested on cars with deleted HICAS. I cannot verify fitment on a HICAS equipped car.
